I've played with many different mediums in my life, discovering glass about 20 years ago. I like that it is multidimensional and useful as well. I got a job in a glass store in Eugene where I found myself teaching beginning copperfoil technique. The whole two years in that shop was a real eye opener, and when I moved here in 1996 I realized that I had become confident enough in my work to actually put it out in public for sale.

I raised four wonderful children up in Oregon, and now I'm having a whole new life here on the coast where my parents have been members of the art community for 35 years. So, young mothers take heart - there is life after kids!
