This truly original gallery has since become a cornerstone of the north coast art scene, offering an authentic and enriching cultural experience to visitors and the local community.

The cooperative, as the name suggests, is owned, managed, and staffed by a membership of twenty working artists, whose spirit and enthusiasm is evident in ongowing displays of their current work in the gallery.
Throughout the year, a portion of the gallery is dedicated to month-long feature exhibits, ranging from solo shows highlighting individual members' work, to eclectic invitational group shows. A favorite annual tradition is the Friends Show, when 40 other artists from the area are invited to present their work to the public.

Northcoast Artists is part of an ensemble of downtown Fort Bragg galleries and businesses that open their doors on the :First Friday" evening of every month with public receptions for exhibiting artists. This popular tradition provides an opportunity to gather in an atmosphere charged with creativity.
